There was a time when primers small and seen
Did seem such an insignificant thing
CCI, REM, WIN and S+B to name a few
I was happy with any of you
Small and Large, Pistol and Rifle you did come
    And of course in Magnum
LGS or the internet, finding some was a sure bet
But I have not seen any yet.
Its times like this that make me cry
Now I sit and wonder why
I did not have a massive supply (of course CA won’t let me)
Primer Primers where have you gone
I have not seen any of you for oh so long
Lots of $$$ now for only a few
Please come back we all miss you!

When primers all could still be found,
Before the panic they did abound.
Five hundred here, a thousand there,
    They could be found everywhere.
Buy a few, buy a lot,
Would have been more than what you got.
When times are good, things we don’t miss,
When stores go dry, preparedness is bliss.
    Times uncertain, prices sky high,
Do you pay to play, or wonder why.
All the panic, search and hurry,
While others sit back, and have no worry.
It will come back, what will you do,
Let this be, a lesson to you.

Seems “we have a few poets who don’t know it “ on the forum.
Old saying I recall from my childhood when one said something that rhymed.

    The primers.

I did just get 1,600 spm primers in trade for some I had that weren't useful to me. I cried like a baby and clutched my treasure so tight , I think a few of them went off.:alien:

    Primers not here.
    Primers not there.
    Oh, are the primers anywhere?
    Can I stand in line?
    Or should I just Whine?
Let us gaze back and lament,
on the prior year primers for 3 cent.

    Gonna vent:

I gave 300 precious primers to an acquaintance when I heard he couldn’t shoot competitions any more due to the shortage.

Next time I see him, he says, “I need to get another thousand of those primers from you.”

No Hello, no small talk, just “I need...”

So I says I’ll give you SRP, they work fine in pistol ammo.

MF turns up his nose and says No it has to be SPP.

    He ain’t getting anything now.

Poetry eases pain for those permitting
    Obscures reality for those allowing
Primers long gone to those left searching
Never returning save in our own dreaming

Back in the days, there was a group of anti-establishments people who made their own ammo. Well, during the great war of CV2020, these things called primers (round things that are make of Krptonite) stop being made by the Ghost in the Shell.

Rumors has it, there is a primer mine in peoples basement and closet

Not really reloading exactly but I thought everybody might enjoy it.
(and come up with a few of their own like the Haiku threads)

I like big primers and I can not lie
    You other loaders can't deny
That when a primer in with an itty pocket waist
And a round thing in your press
You get data, want to pull up hot
'Cause you noticed that primer was stuffed
Deep in the case H110 packed
    I'm chrony and I can't stop reading
Oh .44 wad cutter, I want to get A-zone
    And take your picture
My range buddy tried to warn me
But with that primer you got make
    Sooo Choney
