This just happened, like less than 5 minutes ago from post time.
Phone rings, wife & I both answer at the same time with "Hello". Voice says "Laurie?", my wife's name, so I shut up. Then the male voice goes into the charity telemarketer spiel. So, I hang up. The marketer hears the hang up & says "But you don't care, do you?" At which point my wife says "Hello" & the telemarketer hangs up.
I'm still laughing.
