Looking for opinions on if there is much difference in being able to conceal carry an officer's length grip over a standard full length government/commander grip. Thinking of picking up an officers model for summer, but not sure it will be significantly more concealable.

Any thoughts/comments??
thanks

When I was looking for a carry gun, I checked out both sizes and went with the commander-size frame. 1/2" of grip frame didn't make that much difference in concealability for me. On the other hand, with the officers' size grip, my pinky finger kept wandering around, trying to find a place to rest.

For some reason, I just can't get used to the semi autos where my pinky hangs off the end of the grip...now a j-frame revo w/ boot grips works for me  :scrutiny:
For this reason, I'd recommend the commander or gov't models carried IWB ;)

I carry a concealed Para C7.45 daily. It's an Officer's sized pistol and none of my fingers is left looking for a home. My hands are average to large in size and my "pinky" finger has a comfortable grip on the frame. The smaller 6 round magazined Para Carry (Colt Defender size) will definitely leave a finger dangling.

I have absolutely no problem concealing a full size 1911, so I'm sure the Officer's would be just as easy.
