Probably quite a bit. If you have to take a class in Ohio for your CCW, that is the time to get those questions answered.
You do not need an Ohio class or Ohio issued permit. Perhaps the original poster has a permit from Florida or Utah that Ohio honors? You can be fairly confident that Ohio law and rules was not likely talked about too much in their Utah or Florida class.

Ohio has "pre-emption", meaning that state law over-rides "Local Law", but in some cities, Like Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinatti, don't bet on that...Leftists run these cities. Cleveland Mayor Hizzoner "Lil Lefty Frankie Jackson" has filed a suit to overturn pre-emption, using tax money of the city that could so much better be used elsewhere.

Go to the Ohio Attorney General's website and download the PDF of the Ohio CCW booklet. That should tell you what you need to know in general terms. If you have specific questions, you can go to the Ohioans for Concealed Carry forums and ask questions there. If you need reciprocity information between Ohio and some other state, you can just do what I did and Google "Ohio", "<state-x>" and "reciprocity".

If you have an PA LTCF, I know that ohio doesn't reciprocate, but do you have to still do the class and everything?

Thanks for the replies. I have a Florida CCW - from the Florida site they indicate Ohio reciprocates as does the Ohio site (for both resident and non-resident Florida permits.)
I found the Ohio AG handbook and I'll read it before I go. Hopefully it is comprehensive.
I'm always worried about getting tripped up on some silly rule - not sure if it is still true but I remember Maryland had a rule that not only did auto loaders have to have the mag removed but the bullets could not be in the mag otherwise, even though the mag was out of the gun, the gun was considered loaded.

Here is one that falls in that category. Don't plan on using the Rest Areas on the expressways. You can't carry inside the building at rest stops. Ohio has nice rest stops too.
They at least eliminated the initial requirement that your "concealed" weapon be in plain sight while inside your vehicle.

That's a good one - the one place you'd want to be armed, a highway rest stop and they want you to leave it in the car.

As of September of this year we had major changes to our CC laws. You may now carry in rest areas. All of the signs are not yet down but they are in the process of getting them down. ODOT moves very slowly. It is perfectly legal to carry even though the signs are not down.
Ohio has the exact same law. It just went into effect on Sept. 9th. Since you say you have a Florida CCW permit which Ohio recognizes, you will be able to carry a loaded handgun in your car as long as you do it in one of the four ways Ohio specifies.

Ohio SB184 reformed the law to allow carry in rest area bathrooms and other areas.
