Hello telewinz, greetings from s.w. Ohio. I just rejoined last year myself when they OGCA got "evicted" from their home near Cleveland. Now, half the shows are just off I-71 near Wilmington (exit 50), the other ones near Norwalk just off the Ohio Turnpike. So, I'm now only 45 min. from 3 shows a year. Didn't know if you'd been updated on this stuff or not, hope it helps. I won't be able to help you rejoin immediately, they make you a "probie" your first year, can't sponsor members. Somebody out your way should still belong, have you asked around at the stores and gun clubs? Or just sit tight, someone else posting here can undoubtedly help you more. Good luck, I'll check in here again.

Sure, I can sponsor you. I am in Michigan. It is worth the drive to go to those shows as they are like the shows I grew up with in Michigan. Let me know what I need to do to help.

I've posted a few notices of this show on TFL and the offer of guest passes and a signature if needed. I was at the South show in July (the one they lost power at, of course) and picked up a nice CZ52. Check the Ohio calendar (in my sig line) for all the 2003 dates. I wouldn't mind being a member myself. PRO shows don't do much for me.
I think I'd like to have a look at one of the shows before I spend my money on a membership though.

I'm southwest of Cleveland a bit. Haven't attended any of the Southern OH shows -- too far to go for just a show for me, and I haven't been to the new Norwalk/Sandusky site either. That's about 45 minutes away. I miss the convenience of the IX Center.
