Took my Pietta 1851 Colt Navy (.36 caliber) to the range today.

I had not been to the range in almost 3 months so was a little rusty in terms of finding the right stance.

    Had an okay day.

This was one of my targets (see below). The target was shot from 25 yards using 19 grains of Goex 3F, wonder wad and .375 Hornady round ball.

Hopefully I can get back to the range next week and do better...

    I've done worse.

Anyday at the range is better than any day at work. Just wish it paid as good as work.

Well they’re all in the target – that’s the first plus! … plus some nice grouping at 6 o’clock.

I'd be happy with that from 25 yards with my .36!

Is that a .45 hole at the top? That's really good 25 yard shooting, especially with an opentop.

    All holes were .36 caliber

All the holes were .36 caliber.

Not sure why the top one was a little bigger.

And, yes, any time at the range is better than working!!

    :D
