Well I purchased up a couple extra mags for my two LMT AR-15s. I picked up 100 in a sealed case for $950 shipped right to my door!

I see the boxes have a date of 09/05 and the mag bodies have a date of 07/05. Is this indeed the date of manafacture? Do the boxes just have their own date of manafacture?

What are all these other numbers?

And how do these mags find their way onto the market? I thought Okay couldn’t sell to the public since they have a current military contract.

Anyway just glad I got them.

Thanks, Dan

Hell no!!! 50 mags per rifle is my minimum. I’ll probably be adding another 100 since I’d like to pick up two more AR15 in the near future. But first I have to financially recoup from this expenditure.

Just look on the AR15.com equipment exchange with cash in hand and be patient. $9.50 for a NIB Okay Industries mag is not too uncommon. You might have to wait a couple months however. Just be patient.

100 mags? holy crap.... I think 3-4 is good for me. For that much I can buy another gun!

Yes, those are the manufacture dates if I understand you correctly.

I would go by what the mag bodies say, not that it even matters if you are in an non-ban state.

Okay makes great USGI mags.

Anyone take a look at tapco? they have a sale right now of some gov. contract new 30 rounders.
