Oklahoma coyote huntin

this is what we took this morning, they didnt want to start moving until about 8am. Then it was on like donkey kong at our three last stands. we would of had five, but a gut shot yote on the run disappeared on us. we lost his trail about 40yrds from where he was hit.

Good shooting. Coyotes are like hogs in that you can't shoot enough of them.

We have a fair coyote problem on the family land up in NW OK. I have been wanting to start doing a little hunting.

Can I ask what techniques your using?

I was looking at those calls at Bass Pro and they seem to be kind of expensive.

My buddy has a foxpro fury call system, 4 of them was called in with cottontail and titmouse in distress, and the one male with yote pup in distress. The one shot in the face is mine, it was with a 6.5 creedmore with 95g handload at aprox 300 yrds. If you can find a used electronic would be cheaper, my buddies fury was $600 when his wife bought it for him, you can get one thats better cheaper then when he got it. But have yote problems, will travel to smake'm.
