It took me a long time to get out and shoot a sufficient amount, but I finally did. Not that anyone is that concerned but I just wanted to update and say that my old 25N is starting to zero back in. Ive shot less than 50 rounds through it since I last posted, and most of those were from yesterday. I set an empty box around 20 yards away and was getting some one holers, but not every time. I moved the box to around 50 yards and I was getting around a 2" group.I know I could get better groups if I had a steady bench setup, rather than a lawn chair and shooting stick, but this is alright for the time being.
I was very happy to see Ol Reliable zero back in, and it answered my question and concerns about the rifling inside the barrel not being worn out after this many years and thousands of rounds, considering the incident I originally described. Now that she is starting to get zeroed back in, makes be believe my groups will just get better in time the more I shoot her.
