I would like to start a thread with pictures of real ravaged guns that look like they've had years and years of use, abuse, neglect and respect. But all still in working order. Lots of patina.

Military and Ranch Guns welcome.

And they go with just about EVERYTHING!

Oh, wait, this is about GUNS?

See I had to ask my wife if those were "mules".

The fact that you knew it already scares me :)

She came through the room when I had this up... "Guns huh, you said you were reading that gun forum again......."

I know a lot about a lot of things, TR, and yes, I scare just about everybody.

Think about it!

LOL. Nice :)

I think you already knew that texasrifleman . I had to ask also.

OK maybe I knew a little

I'm still trying to explain why those shoes are on a gun forum.

She now thinks THR is just a cover story

Man, I was expecting to see guns in this thread.

Thread re-railer! I read what he said and realized, "Hey, that's my collection!"

AK's been through a lot. Had it muddy, frozen, on fire, wet, dry, gory, dirty etc etc... Not a scratch on it's spraypaint finish though =)

Shotgun's been through a housefire+1 month of the worst weather I've seen in a while during the excavation process of the remains. Got it back though in the end, had to get pretty vulgar with the apartment owners though.

1911 started out a beauty queen, then had a makeover at briley, then a newbie gunsmith got ahold of it and destroyed the value, then I got ahold of it and it fits right in with everything else so why not?

Yikes, "mules"...

Here's a warhorse with many miles, yet works perfectly.

1943 Enfield No4Mk1*, with many miles on her, maybe some combat duty during the war. Shoots like a champ. And no shoes. :)
