I placed an order for one of these today after talking with him on the phone for a few. He seems like a great guy and said I should have it in a week or so. Also offers a military discount which is nice. I'll do a review on it after I receive it. This will be for a Glock 26.

Very interesting (especially their kits for those that have odd guns that you can't get leather for...I could see their kits really taking off).

I look forward to your review jkulysses (take lots of pics).

My brother may be ordering one of the kits for his Mauser M2.

Holster got here today and looks great. Seems to be of high quality but I wont know how good it fits and all that until i get home then I'll post up pictures and give my opinion but so far I'm happy especially at half the cost of most similar holsters. Keep in mind that I haven't owned or even handled a crossbreed so I won't really be able to compare pros & cons of the two systems. The oldfaithful one does give you more options as far as retention and +/- cant etc etc so should be a nice setup once I get it where it works best for me. Kydex seems nice and thick and well formed and the leather is of high quality and even comes with a tag that tells you where he gets his leather from and specs on the leather like that only high quality veg oil was used etc etc.

I purchased an "old Faithful" holster for my Kahr PM9 and it is very well made with adjustable tension on the kydex and adjustment for the draw angle of the pistol. I just asked them regarding a holster for my P245 as they don't list it and I am not wanting to work with hot kydex on my pistol to make my own with their kit. I do like the idea of a kit I am just not personally interested. I am wearing it around the house as I cannot CCW until later this year in WI and it is very comfortable to sit in do daily stuff around the house. I do not have any experience with the other makes but this is priced very well and does not seem "cheap" in any way

I have two Old Faithful IWB holsters, one for a Glock 19 and the other for a Kahr CW series gun. I'm very happy with both of mine, and will probably buy another one for a different handgun. Good quality and both of mine have held up to the first several months of usage fine.

I have seen other holsters of this type, leather IWB with form-fitted kydex, and like the Old Faithful ones more than I have other makes. The clips are metal instead of plastic, which some others use. The hardware seems pretty durable, and should be easily replaceable if something did wear out or break. Mine were good buys as far as I'm concerned.

I'm curious to see the results of your custom holsters. The OF holster seem very high quality and priced very well. Anyone got pics?

If you go to their website and click on the "forum" need help you will be directed to a forum where they have a "show off your project" thread. Lots of pics of peoples projects and you don't have to join anything to see some.

I just received my kit. I am pleased so far, because they shipped quick, the price was reasonable, and upon initial inspection, everything is made out of high quality material. When I find the time to put it together, I will post pics. The fact that DIY is an option is something I like about the product, because you can either make it yourself or have them do it, I prefer doing it myself just because I like having things like that to do, and I can tweak it how I like. I hope mine works out since I'll be using it for a revolver, and the cylinder makes it a little tricky, but like I said, I'll post pics and let you all know in a few days.
