main page says no new orders but never hurts to give them a call or email?
hmm...maybe someone has a way to chamber and adjust the gas system to run them properly out of a beater M1 Carbine?
I have one, on the pricey side, but its been a lot of fun. Have made a lot of folks grin ear-to-ear dumping a mag with a Slide-Fire stock. Glad I stocked up on the ammo when it was cheap.
I do wonder if something like the Destroyer Carbine might not sell in the occupied states if new made and made to use inexpensive high cap pistol mags. Perhaps even offer it with different mag wells for different magazines. 9x19mm of course, but design the gun so 7.62x25 is do able, either with Tok mags or some double stack specifically for the gun or one of the Chinese pistols we can not get in the US. Maybe also a .357/.38 model for say a seven shot mag. Perhaps one model with a non threatening wood stock and another with some sort of pistol gripped folder. Option for sights on receiver or barrel, tapped for scope mount. 16.1 inch barrel (threaded of course), light weight, handy.
Now to choose this weeks numbers........
Having known about the Spanish Destroyer carbine for some years, combined with the above, does entice me to consider other 'small' cartridges in a light, bolt action rifle. (My days of blasting away are over; I prefer placement.) The .30 Tokarov, Mauser and Luger are all on the list, as is Super .38 and some others. .357 Magnum is rather common in lever guns; I think that would do well in single shot actions as well.
Now I think about it, at least one European manufacturer made a rifle chambered for .32 ACP. Not sure what purpose it served, but it seems interesting.
