Although I have searched for a long time, I have been unable to locate an appropriate sling for my older model 9mm carbine.
Could somebody tell me where to find an easy to install, and inexpensive sling for the above, please.:)

why not call hi-pointfirearms.com and ask? They don't advertise screws etc. but they have em' for sale or for free if you own the gun.

I just used a set of Uncle Mike's for my old one, and an old M-16 sling I had kicking around.

Uncle Mike's "screws", or what ?

Also I don't know of an appropriate place for the screws or swivels for the sling.

Thanks for both of the above posts, "total recoil" and "RedlegRick".
I will be checking out the info.

Just a set of detachable swivels that I swapped out with a couple stock screws is what I meant.

You are not being very specific, but today I bought a sling at WalMart for my new 9mm Ruger PC carbine. I attached it this afternoon and it seems to work well.

Sorry. I meant that mine is likely the first model.
Probably over 20 or 30 years ago. It is a Model 995.
It has no skeletonized stock and no forearm post grip.

I'll check with the Walmart inventory, and call HiPoint, etc.

Thanks, guys.

Mine was too. It's easy, just replace the center fore and rear stock screws with the swing swivels.
