Don't know for sure how old it has to be so it's considered an "Oldie" but I know this one qualifies at least as a "Goodie":

To me the H & R 999 Sportsman is one of the sweetest pistols they ever made. I still have my fathers, which is probably a 70's vintage. Finish, lockup, you name it, everything about that pistol is sweet. Coogs.

Love that H&R 999. I have one that looks just like that one shown. Probably the last one I will ever part with. It's going to a special grandson. At 11 now he loves it just as much as I do.
 
I kept forgetting to post this one. It's from the 19-teens, IIRC. It looks like someone may have replaced or refinished the cylinder at some point. A real sweet shooter that my daughter enjoys.
