A friend has several bricks of "Caliber 22 Ball Long Rifle Standard Velocity" by Olin Corporation. It is the military white box type. His father shot on a Army rifle team 20 or more years ago and these are from that era. Is there any value beyond good plinking or hunting ammo for these? I'd hate to see him send a brick of it downrange and then find out someone out there collects military ammo. Thanks.

i used to shoot that stuff all the time when i started shooting smallbore. we used it as practice ammo. don't know if it has any collector value, but we used to throw alot of it downrange in a years time.
