Was out browsing the gun shops this afternoon & came across a very clean looking FAL made by Olympic Arms of Olympia, WA. I was quite surprised, as I didn't know Oly. Arms had even made FALs.
Forgive the questions, but I'm not too familiar with these rifles. This one's receiver had a 'picatinny rail' incorporated into the action cover plate (if that's the right word), & the cover plate was a shiny blue finish, unlike the matte blue of the rest of the rifle.....it looked like it was an alloy.
Can anyone tell me about these rifles, reputation-wise? Are they made to the inch or metric pattern? It came with two 20-round magazines & would be about $750 out the door, does that sound reasonable?
