I am in possession of an Omega rifle that my wife inherited after her father, the one and only original owner, past away. only 3 rounds were fired which easily sighted in the attached scope. Caliber is 7mm. magnum. The stock and forearm are laminated. years ago, he met Gov.Connelly at a trade show in Dallas and thru whatever means he used in that relationship, he acquired the rifle. From all the forums we've read out there, the proper markings are on the rifle. Can anyone familiar with this beautiful rifle advise the aprox. value?

I bought a very clean left handed omega3 about 2 years ago for 1100 dollars.money well spent compared to the current crop of guns available today, Fantastic trigger and awsome shooter I would keep it if I were you.there were probably less than a 1000 made at the Flower mound Texas factory. There is a great thread on the high road about the omega3 rifles and a lot of nonsense on the internet about them.

Omega 3 rifle

currently the rifle is locked in a secure place and it is in mint/new condition. we are inquiring about an aprx. value in order to insure it properly. could you point me in the right direction to assist in this project? thank you.

I think rcmodel gave you your answer with 2 posted adds with asking prices and the one sold price left handed one (which is mine). There is also a very good thread on The High Road, about omega value they are worth what you can get most sell between 900 to 1600 hundred people ask more, but they arent ussually sold.
