My interest in the CZ52 was piqued when I was at my friendly (yes, that's right friendly) local pawn shop the other day looking for a Ruger Mark II. As we were browsing the cases I saw the CZ52 and remarked to the owner that I'd never seen such a gun.
After a brief discussion of the gun I went on my merry way and didn't give it much thought until I saw another thread here on the Maks and CZ52's.
Now I'm thinking that this might be a fun thing to add to the stable.
So, here's the true heart of the question: The CZ52 does not appear on the Maryland roster of approved handguns. It does however list the CZ50. Are these the same things? If not, is it legal to even possess this weapon in our fair state?
By extension, many of the old East European guns do not appear on "the list". Is there exemption for guns no longer in production?
