I certainly wouldn't have guessed that was a single shot
It probably wasn’t supposed to be, but becomes one due to unreliable feeding, jams, etc.
My favorite 1911 on the forum !
Neither has mine, but it has night sights and double Talon tape.

The same plus a Tussy reliability job and in the Series 70 (before safety locks).
Here is another version of the 36 with tritium sights, a laser and Pierce extender +1:
I currently have two handguns chambered in 45 ACP. A RIA 1911A1 and a S&W Model 25 Performance Center 45 ACP revolver. I shoot the Model 25 slightly more often than the 1911, as I shoot it slightly better and enjoy not having to search for brass.
However, if I could only have one 45 ACP, I would keep the 1911. A 1911 in 45ACP just seems right.
What magazines are you using on that 36?
This Colt 1917, with its worn finish and 9 digit number (SSN?) carved on the side.
I have one.
