One gun you regret selling and...

I have had many different guns, but one I regret selling/trading was a WWII National Postal Meter M1 Carbine. Its one of those "What was I thinking" kind of gunshows. I traded in part for a Bulgarian Makarov and a CZ82....plus $200....yah, thinking back, it was a bad deal, but I really wanted the pistols.

The one that got away, 1920's Luger p08, shooter grade, in 30 Luger. A friend of my mother's had it for sale for $500, and I scrimped, saved, sold other guns to get the cash. Day of the sale, she wanted another $150 for the ammo and repo holster for the gun...I didn't have it, and she didn't want to wait. So, I never got my dream gun. Later I found out she gave it away to someone, just not me.

Regret selling: Either the Walther GSP or the Dan Wesson 15VH.
Regret buying: The Walther OSP (rules changed, it's no longer useable) and a cased pair of percussion target pistols (bore layout indicates they won't shoot accurately).

Regret selling: my FN Winchester M70 Ultimate Shadow in .270 Win, it was one of the most accurate factory hunting rifles I've ever touched, honest fairly reliable 0.5" 5 shot groups with 130gr SSTs.... It was hell on antelopes. I sold it to a former sniper on a ranch a few hours north of here... I'd guess that times have been a lot harder for the local deer and antelope population since it moved up there.

Regret buying: Heritage Rough Rider .22lr/.22 mag.... Junk. went out of time after a few thousand rounds and started spitting lead out of the sides.

I kind of regret selling my Sig Sauer P556 pistol every now and then.

I regret buying a Bond Arms Snake Slayer IV.

I have had a lot of guns over the years. I also sold a lot of guns and I regret selling all of them. I don't think there is one I regret more then the other. The only gun I regret buying is the Charter Arms AR 7. The ironic thing is I still have it taking up space in my gun safe.

Regret selling: Ruger Security Six 4" stainless steel
Regret buying: Remington Nylon 77 Mohawk
Glad I sold: Remington Nylon 77 Mohawk

The gun I most regret selling was a stainless Marlin .22 mag bolt action rifle. Sold it to my dad shortly after the .17 hmr came out. And I just had to have a .17. Well he turned around and sold off the .22 mag, for no apparent reason. Anyway, several years later, the gentleman who had purchased the rifle, called me out of the blue, saying he wanted to sell it back to me, if I was interested. I couldn’t pay the man fast enough to get my rifle back. I don’t reckon I’ll be dumb enough to sell that one again.

My most regretted firearm purchase must be one of those Henry survival rifle ar7 clones. It’s pretty rare for it to cycle an entire magazine without a failure to feed or a stovepipe. The front sight fell out by itself somewhere out on my grandparents farm. One of the mags disappeared out there too. I still have it somewhere. Haven’t tried to shoot it in years though.
