...just shot this picture of one of my TK-11 Warnies today. I thought the knife and picture turned out pretty good.

The blade steel is D-2 heat treated to RC-61 by Paul Bos. The handle scales are textured blue/black G-10 (one of my favorites).

    Thanks for looking!

Tom you have inspired me to call up my buddy and take the Plott hounds out for some white meat.

That's one practical looking knife you made there! I would carry one like that in a heartbeat.

Excellent job on both the blade and the photo!

    Good looking knife, Tom.

    How'd you grind that notch?

    Excellent

I would certainly not be embarrassed to carry a knife like that.

    Love the Wharncliffe profile.

    Thanks!

    HSO, its a secret....

    okay, not really:D

I grind it with a drill bit... Yep, I drill the hole and then cut into it so I get a very nice radius. I guess you could also mill it in, but I like the low tech method I use.

Ha! I'd spend 3 hours setting up the mill - and then screw up the whole knife. :D

Doing good - going to the Vegas Show tomorrow!

Great looking knife and well composed photo.
Good 'ole D-2, a good steel made even better by modern heat treatment.

Tom makes some nifty stuff. I'm big fan. I've got a piece of Talonite goodness on its way to me.
