    Wow! I saw another Colt 1861 that just was sold on GB for $1576 plus shipping. And, Mike hasn't even worked on it yet!:rofl:

    I had an officers model target .38 until it got stolen. Very smooth action and extremely accurate.

    I dunno, the sights aren't original and the dovetail doesn't belong there. It has no collector value. Mine had King Sights and Roper grips. I gave 50.00 for it but that was in 77 or 78.
