OPINION: What Do You Believe To Be The Best .32 Auto Ever Made?

I didn't see a single mention of the Heckler Koch Model 4. I'm a little surprised by that. Am I the only one that finds it appealing?

So few HKs in use that I assume there aren't enough people to testify good or bad as to the reliability. I've lusted for one but the price is always steep for a model 4. One with all three barrels and mags will go above $2500!

Well I dont know if OP got anything out of this post yet....

But I Did .... Went online and bought a Beretta 81 ..... :D

Thanks SharpsDressedMan .... :D

Now I am trying to logically explain the chain events that you started that led to this situation to the mrs.

Check the under carriage of that bus while you are down there SharpsDressed!!!

My favorite is the Mauser HSc. I found a war issued HSc in the broken gun box at work and got a really good price for it. Turns out it only needed a new trigger spring. It started me on my love for the round.

Now I have several guns in .32acp, like a CZ 61, Beretta Tomcat, Keltec 32, Colt 1903 (which feels like shooting a .22lr), and a few others. But the Mauser got me started and you have to love those smooth, contured lines and futuristic look.

I'll second the Kel-Tec. It's my favorite carry. .32 auto is such an under-appreciated caliber. I really wish we'd see more guns in that caliber.

I don't even know if I've ever shot a .32 Auto. I don't recall having done so.

My opinion on the various .32s may not matter a hoot, so instead of noting a specific pistol, I'll just say that for anyone whose life has ever been saved by anything chambered in .32, that gun is the best .32 ever made.

How's about the Browning 1900? How are those? I read this whole thread and didn't see it mentioned. I know they were very solid. I think JMB did the 1900 and then turned right around and improved upon himself with the 1903. I know the 1903 was, and still is, the quintessential .32. But what about the 1900? Always thought they were cool. I've seen a couple at auctions but never sprang for one though sorely tempted.
