Have an opportunity to pick up this Armalite AR10-A4......don't know much about them. Quality? Accuracy?

I think they're banned by name in California.

We can get AR-10's, but not with Armalite AR-10 lower receivers. (Don't ask.)

So I'd say, go for it. The list of CA-banned weapons is a good starting point for making purchase decisions.:)

    I had a real nice AR-10A4 20" SPR plus a spare 16" carbine upper.
I ended up selling all of my AR-10 stuff off in favor of another M14 build.

    I don't know.... isn't a Tec 9 listed specifically on that list?

If so, maybe not EVERYTHING on that list.

I can't comment on that particular model as I have an AR-10(T), but mine is fantastically accurate, though only with 165-168gr bullets, which are in no short supply so no biggie. It is heavy though.

I have a couple, and like them very much. Armalite does good work, and their customer service (should you ever need it) is top notch.
