Anyone ever purchase from these guys?

They have an item that I'm interested in for less money than anyone else but I'm leary because it's cheaper and includes free shipping.

Are they legit?
 
Yes, they are legit. I've gotten great service from them several times.
 
My last order was about two months ago.

I ordered on Monday 8-24, and received my order on Thursday 8-27.

I will not buy optics or any other item they carry anywhere else.

I just ordered the Blackhawk shoulder harness for my Serpa holster.

It list for $56.99 but they have it on sale for $40.25 with free shipping.

The cheapest I found it prior to this was 44.99 + shipping.

I'll be checking back with them in the future when I'm looking for other items.
 
Yes, they're good to go. I've bought from them with no issues.

Got a great deal on my Peltor Tactical 7s ear muffs. Funny thing, I was originally shopping on Amazon for them, and Optics Planet was one of the alternate choices, plus shipping. I went to OP's website directly and got it for the same price (maybe less?) and free shipping.
 
i have ordered a lot from Opticsplanet Never had any issues what so ever.
 
I have bought from them once. No problems, but I have noticed that unless the item is on sale, their regular prices are higher than some others.
 
+1. I ordered my Eotech 512 from them and I believe it took 3 days to get it. Was about $40 cheaper than I found elsewhere. Don't quote me on that, as it was a year ago.
 
Have had a few orders with them and no problems. Once, an item was back-ordered, but later shipped as scheduled.

Definitely not to be compared to horrible venders like BOTACH.
 
The prices are good but the site has little to no indication of actual stock and i think they do this on purpose because, without it, they seemingly to carry *everything* under the sun for optics. You really have to call to find out if its in stock otherwise you'll only know a day after you put in your order that the item is "on backorder". This happened to me twice when ordering a red dot then later a pistol scope.
 
I ordered a scope from them... Took them 5 weeks to get it to me. I called them every 3 days and every time I got a different answer. But I was in no hurry and the price was excellent.
 
A friend of mine has used them a number of times, primarily for scopes. Decent selection, lowest prices, and shipped to him within the week.
 
I recently ordered a Leaper's scope mount from them for my Mosin 91/30. It's out of stock at the moment, but they promptly emailed me to tell me so, and promised to ship as soon as they get some in.
 
I have ordered from them a number of times without any issues. As a matter of fact I ordered a Surefire flashlight just a couple of hours ago and even though the site indicated that it could take 24 hours to show the order I checked after about an hour and it said the item was shipped. That's service!
 
+1 here also, I've done several good orders with them. They actually called me on something that was backordered one time. Emailed me when it came back in and gave me the original price.
