OWB Holster

[Water-Man]

Haven't purchased an OWB holster for a while so I'd appreciate some recommendations.

It's for an Ruger SP-101 .327 Fed Mag, 3" barrel, DA/SA to be used for concealed carry. Usually worn under a shirt that hangs out.

Can be leather or plastic. Thumb strap or not. Good quality but not top-of-the-line.

I really like my new Azula and matching belt.
Super fit and quality. I have been wearing the belt even without the holster, its very nice looking. Very thick finished leather.

I am seriously considering the same holster design for my 1911CMD

I really cant answer that question because my python doesn't get out much, but the belts have turned into my EDC belts. I have two now. They are great. Excellent quality. I wear one for work every day.

I don’t have any of the Silver Dollar holsters from Simply Rugged but I do have several of the Sourdough Pancake holsters, one Cuda, and a CID. I have personally carried on several occasions a 4” Redhawk in a Sourdough covered by an untucked shirt with no problems. The design sucks the gun in close to the body. Top shelf gear!

I went to their website because of this. I ordered both an IWB and OWB holdter last weekend. They called on Monday to confirm exactly what gun I had. (Model 69 S&W w/2.75" barrel). I received the holsters today and they are nice. I recommend Azula to everyone.

That was my experience as well. Took the time to confirm no full underlug, etc and let me know he'd ship it out that day. I will recommend whenever possible and can't wait to show it off at dove camp this year (we do pistols when not waging war on the bird of peace).

The IWB is fine.

It is thinner leather and that makes it hide better. It's a bit of a struggle to re-holster but I'd rather deal with that then the weight and printing of thicker leather. I am really liking being able to carry my Model 69.
