Last I heard, the regular P2000 still isn't available here in the US, let alone the compact model. Is HK ever going to start selling these in the US? Or are they just doing this to tease us?

By the time that HK comes to these shores, the MSRP on the thing will top a G...

I'm not holding my breath. Sorry.

My guess is that it will be the P2000 that they make when they set up a factory here .I wonder when and where that will be. We may have to wait for the P2000 till then.

So, is it going to be the P2010 by the time we can buy one? And by that point, will we care anymore? Sorry, but I don't have much faith in HK at this point.

    "Cute" ?

That's the best you got? You have mag compatibility from HK, from a platform you've been waiting for & you come up w/ your shortest post ever?

    Tough crowd ;) :neener:

The more I wait, the more I'm entrenched in my Beretta and P7 decision. Honestly I wonder if it can dethrone my beloved Nina and Grace. If they released it, I would have bought one already but I'm at that phase right now I'm not really looking for anything new....

I hear ya, the longer I put off my USPc 45 purchase, the more convincing I need to really want to buy one. That compact tho does have potential ;)

It's hard to get excited about this little bugger when the full size version is still in limbo. I will probably warm up to it when I have my hands on a P2000 and get a better chance to evaluate the overall design of this gun, as well as shoot it. Until then, I'm still in Ho-Hum mode..:(

Can you tell that I'm tired of waiting?? :D

I remember when the USP hit the market. I wasted my time buying other HK's :D Before the P2000 & sub get here I'll probably own all the CA approved USPs
