I have both, and much prefer the trigger on the Sig. I shot it better out of the box than the 43 with about 2500 rounds through it. If I don't get rid of the 43, it's only because I am too lazy to mess with it.

Then you must have been living in another dimension. I don’t think I have ever heard a gun get bashed more than the Glock 40. OK, maybe the High Point.

It would seem the prudent thing to do, would be to shoot both and you decide. Maybe neither will fit or maybe just one. Both do not suite me. Just do not fit. Sig is too small for a size large hand and Glock just does not point naturally. There ARE other Micro's out there as well.

That is too bad because G40 is one of Glock models actually worth owning.

Just because someone bashes something, anything, doesn’t mean its bad.

A guy once said Scotch tastes like Bourbon with dirt in it. Doesn’t make me like Scotch any less.

But this topic is about the Sig 365 and the Glock 43. As of this date Glock does not make a compact, single stack handgun in 40 S&W. And as far as I know Glock has not had any issues with the G43.
I bought the G43 after looking at it and the S&W Shield. I preferred the G43 due to the size and feel. I wanted something small and compact. But I’m not a big fan of small guns, I like a little more grip to hold on to. Now I’m not saying that small guns don’t have a place or roll to fill. My G43 is prefect for some applications.
I think that when it comes down to the Sig 365 or the Glock 43, it’s not which is better, but which do you prefer. Because if we all liked the same thing, the gun market would be a very boring place.

Isn't that 100% of gun purchases?

But then it magically stopped and today we have Glock fan boys who are as rabid in defense of Glocks as Ruger or Dillon or (fill in the blank) fan boys.

Now we start throwing out the Fanboy word. Can’t some people live with the fact that people like different things.

I don't own any of these pictured, but if I had to choose...
    7a5839b2b60a37a38df0ad71a4022f37.jpg
It would be between the G26 and P365.
I'd probably go Sig because... well just look how small it is. Would easily and comfortably fit in a pocket.
The Glock is better for everything else though -- magazine compatibility, aftermarket parts, maybe shootability...

Nope, not if the persons likes don't align with their own. Especially if it has "Glock" written on it I guess.

    Crazy huh?

Guns? I like all sorts of them. It's ok if a person likes a different gun. Matter of fact, that's great. That gives all of us several choices of arms at competitive prices.

    I own a P365 and not the G43.
    That is my vote.

Absolutely; but rabid love or hatred for one thing over another isn't a healthy way to go about it.

I will shoot one soon. Ill probably own one after enough time passes. Price will go down a little more and I'll feel more confident in the design.

Luckily I'm not doing without so no rush on my part. I'll tote my G43 and a few other guns while I wait on things to sort themselves out for me. It's a cool idea for a gun that small to have Sig lite sights and 10+1 capacity.

Of the options given I'd pick the 43 but my preference would be a 43X.

The price of magazines wouldn't be THE deciding factor but it would definitely be A deciding factor.

Compatibility with my other Glocks would be a factor. Glock's reputation for reliability and the P365's reputation for lack of reliability would be another.
