Greetings,

I just bought a CZ-82 from AimSurplus and the black bear ammo.

The lady told me that ammo is not working in the PA63 because of the magazine. Anyone has an idea what is exactly the issue?

Some of the 9mm Mak ammo was too "long" and would not feed in the magazines. I had a PAin63 for a while, and had that issue. No problem in my E German Makarov.

Checkout makarov.com. It is generally not suggested that you shoot anything heavier than a 95gr bullet in the PA63. I have one and haven't had any problems with ammo not feeding or functioning.

dont use hollowpoints. it jams the mags when they hang up on some part of the mag. every mag, every time, every brand. no hollowpoints and nothing higher than a 95 grain bullet and it will serve you well. may also want to replace the recoil spring to keep that from causing problems in the future.

My PA63 shoots Hornady XTP hollow points just fine.
