Honestly I'm not feeling it. The green doesn't look like the right shade of OD amongst other things but its your gun and if you like it thats what really counts.

The green looks lighter than it actually is & I may take the grip off.

I have never considered doing that, but have considered some high temp Rustolum for a 22 rifle I have that is old.
