Painting a synthetic stock?

Is it ok to paint over camoed synthetic furniture with spraypaint?

Is any special paint needed? Say, maybe Krylon Fusion plastic paint? Are there any special preparation steps I need to take other than getting it completely clean/masked?

+1 for duracoat. The spray paint will peel off and is not resistant to gun solvents.

Check out a previous thread re: this subject. Seems DuraCoat may be available much more locally and much more cheaply than many are conditioned to believe.

I've used regular model paint with good results.

Lots more color choices, it's cheap, and touch up is easy.

How about appliance paint? Ever try to get it off a stove or fridge? It's tough stuff.

duracoat camo kits?

How well do the duracoat camo kits work? I have never used any gun paints except for KG gunkote and I would like to camo some plastic parts.
