Interesting video on how they reload ammo in different parts of the world. What powder requires no measuring??

Quite a few, if not most rifle powders can be used to fill the case without adverse effects. These guys aren't making precision ammunition here anyway.

Wow, such efficiency! And I like the QC on the powder fill- the technician used both hands to pat the tray of charged cases, before topping them off.

This is junk ammo for junk rifles in a wasteland warzone, they value human life about as much as I value the ant Hill in my backyard. Heck, they willingly blow themselves up for kicks. With that type of loading practices they don't expect much. Frightening

Reminds me of the original 303 British being loaded with cordite sticks

They are measuring, using the case.

If you were designing or blending a propellant for a cartridge, you'd design it for ~100% case fill (without compression). This is a small step away (compressed, over 100% fill) but easy to achieve.

I used to shoot with a older gentleman...long passed that loaded his 45 ACP pretty much like that. Said he would scoop the case and shake out enough to get the bullet in...very interesting to hear him shoot, you could notice the difference in powder weight.

It looks like Tok ammo (7.62X25). It is indeed volumetric loading. I knew of folks years ago that would load hunting ammo that way. They would fill the chosen bottleneck rifle case all the way up and strike the excess off with a business card and crunch a bullet on top. Kill deer every year with that ammo too.

I’d be willing to bet that what ever velocity/pressure that round is designed to operate at it is well within most modern standard cartridges specs for velocity variances, those cases were filled as even as any progressive powder measure is going to throw a charge.
That appeared to be a handguns bottle neck cartridge.

That’s the 7.62x25 Insh’allah. As in, “Insh’allah, it will kill the other guy, not me”. :D

Lee probably designed the foot Crimp! but could not market it to the US market!

    Opalene. Breakfast of champions!

They could have sped things up using a vibrator. But their goat would have been upset!

I remember the older Khyber Pass videos with the kids reloading on a rock with a hammer. Wonder what their life expectancy was before a primer was ignited?

I wonder how other people would laugh at us during our lean times, and whether we'd be as resourceful and resilient as they are.

Well I load my 22 Hornet ammo that way. A case full of Lil Gun and a 45 grain bullet. Wiked flat shooting as well as accurate. Ends up being around 13 grains in them.
The guy doesnt seem to worry about the primers being in a box like that! Kinda jealous of how many he has there as well.

Thank you for sharing a video of you reloading. I've long suspected that would be your system.

I'd love to see some guesses, like the OP, of what powder they're using.
