not good

I have bought two from them in the past with no issues, then last year I ordered a pocket holster for my kahr pm9 andnever heard from them in months. rewrote them, again nothing, rewrote them again, again no answer. I had never paid for the holster though but I have since given up on them. a shame for they make great stuff, really good stuff, but I won't kiss their ass to do business either. Lots of other good makers out there that will take my money........ don't know what your recourse is either, when dealing with someone miles apart. I can't believe they would screw you out of your money though.....

Ever the optimist, I ordered a holster and 2 single mag carriers off of their in-stock list last year.

Of course I fouled up the on-line order and paid too much :banghead: which I discovered when he immediately e-mailed me with some options: a $10 refund or take a double mag carrier instead of a single.

They sent the backpocket holster for my Rohrbaugh, a single and a double mag carrier and all was well. It took about a week or so.

Did everybody read "** Note from Ron Graham" on the Pale Horse front page? Lots of good info.

He makes a great holster; I've been extremely pleased. I wish I could have gotten another Hedley, but I missed his cutoff before he shut down.

He sure made great holsters. I guess he's retiring for good now. He started making holsters in retirement as a hobby and was so good at it that I think it got to be more of a job due to the high demand for his holsters. I've got 5 of them, the last one was for my 2G P-3AT.

If I need a pocket holster in the future, I'd get one from Ron Graham or K&D Holsters.

JOHNBT:

I don't think anyone is doubting that Ron Graham makes fantastic holsters...

The problem seems to be that his sole distributor "Pale Horse" is sorely lacking in how they handle sales and delivery of those Ron Graham holsters..

It doesn't matter how good a holster is, unless after you BUY one of those holsters through Pale Horse that holster you paid for in advance actually shows up at your home it's a crappy deal.

There are several members of the www.seecamp.com forum who have been trying to get these very issues resolved for several months, with product paid for, but never being sent to the buyer.

But hey, it's America... You pays your money and takes your choice.

Too many other QUALITY holstermakers in the business for me to deal with one whose sole distributor can find the post office to pick up payment, but apparently cannot manage to find the post office to ship the product..:barf:

Just personal opinion/YMMV

Best Wishes,

Jesse

Did everybody read "** Note from Ron Graham" on the Pale Horse front page?

Ya mean this:

"Pale Horse Leather Holsters welcomes e-mail correspondence from customers."

I`ve followed the thread on the Seecamp forum since its onset, and don`t understand Mr Graham. There are reports of holsters ordered back in Dec that suposedly were "in stock" and still haven`t been recieved. Multiple E-mails aren`t responded to either. It appears PaleHorse and Ron are two seperate people but, it is Ron Grahams name on the line and he should quit ignoring the fact there seems to be a problem.
I`ve one of his holsters and it is IMO top of the line. I had no trouble when I made my purchase and was treated well at the time. I`d recommend one to anyone except for the apparent lack of customer service lately. I truely hope he gets his distributor moving before it harms his business, and does a better job of keeping communications going with customers.

The custom holster business has a few name makers that have fallen WAY behind. I've been ripped off by two of them. I will not name them.

It seems they become inundated with orders once the word gets out. One of my favorites was written up in a national gunzine and I fear I'll never be able to do business with him again! Further, those who will do any kind of custom work have the biggest backlog. The guy who wants a pancake with eliphant re-enfoced mouth. shark body, 9.887 degree cant eats up a lot of time.

I prepaid an order to Pale Horse through Pay Pal and attempted to contact them after 6 months but no response. I learned the Ron Graham was involved in this outfit and contact him, provided him with all the order and payment documentation and he promised to fill the order. It has been over a year and I don't have the holster and can't find Ron Graham. All his web sites and addresses are shut down. I had heard a great deal about Ron Graham in shooting circles but it turns out that he was just another liar. What a disappointment. I simply got ripped off by Ron Graham. Beware of this guy or his front, Pale Horse

The address you provide gets you to the Pale Horse/Graham Holster page but the email links provided including the webmaster link are dead ends. Those email contact links are shut down. I could currently find no way to contact Graham (who was in contact before and made certain promises and assurances, none of which were true - I can provide the emails on request) . I agree. It is sad. He had a reputation as a master holster maker and an ethical businessman. I left him alone for about a year after receiving his assurances and promises but as my doubt and insecurities grew, I tried to contact him and he was no longer available. We are just talking about $65+ dollars but I felt the need to let others know that Ron Graham ain't Ron Graham anymore. Thanks.

I wish I could have gotten another Hedley, but I missed his cutoff before he shut down.

There is hope yet!

RJ Hedley's daughter has said she is training to take over his (RJ's) production and holsters will be available again when RJ is happy with the quality. This also comes from the Seecamp forum. Don't delete that bookmark yet. I own one hedley and it is a good holster.

Thanks. I posted on the Seecamp site and got some constructive help but there are a few sociopaths over there that live to take cheap shots at each other. There appears to be more good than bad posters so I just hold my nose and proceed with caution and humor. I appreciate your guidance.

I guess I'm not the only victim of this outfit. I ordered a holster from them in May 2008. I've been trying to contact Ron Graham, with no success. His email addresses are dead ends. The [email protected] doesn't come back as undeliverable, but there is never any response to it.

I've seen Ron's comments that he is separate from Pale Horse Holsters. That's a cop-out in my opinion. Granted it's not my life savings involved here, but I don't appreciate being ripped off.

Word of advice from one who tried it: Don't order from Ron Graham!!!
