I am really sad though. Really sad to see so many gun people who seem determined to toss the rights they have away, and I do not mean just gun rights. I lived in Seattle when I was a kid. When I see what has become of it now??? Much of it looks like a 3d world hole. Yet those who live their keep asking for more of the same. Makes me sad to think how bad this may get after I am gone.

Obama promised so much against us and accomplished nothing but sales. Trump damaged us more, directly.
Anyone trying to do the job has so much on their plate that gun rights are only a target of opportunity. So we just fight to not give them the shot.

It Was almost like panic last night! Mostly breathless exhaustion (I’m 65-and kinda new).

In a special Krav Maga class we steadily kept kicking large pads which surrounded us (held by fellow students), as four guys in psycho/killer Halloween masks -now and then-pretended to stab us with rubbery Knives. One heck of a “stress test”.

At the level of the law you might be right, however politician learned to make small laws to traverse the 2A ala California, PA, NY etc...

No panic and no sky falling but the situation is not good. It's amazing how people progressively give their rights and freedoms away. They are gullible and easily fooled.

If the senate is not stolen, 2A is probably safe for a little while but eventually will be the main target. The senate still can be stolen from us though.

I will go down swinging but MANY gun owners could care less, at least so far. This state put in a law a while back about "Assault Weapons". Like so many laws like this it was written so poorly a Ruger 10/22 is now covered under this here. To buy one you have a 10 Business day wait, have to certify you passed a special class to then get on the wait list.
So we tried to put it on the ballot to get rid of it. Gun owners could not even be bothered to sign petitions to have it show up. That is how few gun owners care here and we are far from alone. Talk to any of the people in CA trying to stop it there. They will tell you if they could get a couple million voters to vote in a block they could move. There are a LOT more gun owners than that there and they can not get them to even vote. So yes, gun owners are shooting themselves in the foot every two years. I hear all kinds of excuses from those who do <shrug>. Bottom line is still the same, they get the Government they deserve sadly.
