I just got my hands on one of the new Para Hawg 9 mini-1911 pistols chambered for the 9mm Para. It comes with all the "bells & whistles" you 1911 fans demand but is chambered for a cartridge that makes it a very controllable and accurate little package. Hell, loaded with 13 rounds of 9mm +P+ it's all you could ask for in a mini-1911! :D

The idea of an ultra-compact, double-stack, 9mm 1911 is pretty intriguing. I'm looking forward to a range report.

And my p-10 holds 11 rounds of 230+P 45 in same size package with no more recoil than my PPK/S shooting CorBon. So why start small and hope to get big when you can start big and get bigger. :D Besides 1911 type are suppose to be 45.
I hope you enjoy your new pistol and have many trouble free rounds. :) Para has excellent factory service if you need.

Hey MICHAEL T! Tried any P12's in that Para? I agree on your assesment that all things being equal, go with the .45. I have the Springfield's version of the P10. Something about those widebodies. I think that they absorb most ofthe recoil with the frame. A real pleasure to shoot.

Can't even fine a Para in my area. I got my at a Pawn shop and shop owner had bought it from a cop in another part the state.
Before I got the p-10 I had/ have a Llama sub-compact Clone of P-10/Warthog. that after a lot of tinkering I got up and running.
My only problem with either pistol is the noise. :what: I mean you need cotton, ear plugs and muffs. advise all people in 2 miles of range to take cover your about to shoot. Those little babies are LOUD.
