A friend of mine has been stalling for years to get a handgun, but one of his main criteria was, he wanted to get one that could use a .22 conversion kit. He ordered without talking to me first, and bought a Para-Ordnance nite tac, hi-cap. I believe this pistol has a ramped barrel, and will not take a .22 kit. Am I wrong?

unless theres a P14 version of .22 kits i dont know about. no most kits will not work, the nonramped barrel wont work in the ramped cut out Para frame, nor will the .22 magazines fit in the wider para mag well

I'm finding responses in a couple of forums that say Ciener makes one, you have to call them and ask, but Ciener's website doesn't say anything about it. I'm thinking he's out of luck on this one.
