Para Ordnance Slim Hawg?

What do you guys think of this gun? I am thinking it may be a good alternative to carrying my full size 1911 in summer or as a back up. Any experences, rumors, pros, cons?
 
I own two Paras - both LDA, one my fav carry gun - and based on those, I'd say the Para is a good choice. The Hawg has good chatter, but I haven't tried one personally.

My one and only dealing with Para Ord, was not good! Company will try to get out of warranty repairs, any way they can.:scrutiny:

If you do any work to the gun at all that is outside of a normal field strip your warranty is void. At least that is what they told me when they sent my PXT18-9 back to me. What was the extensive after market work done to it????? New thumb safety and DP Magwell. BOTH of which had NOTHING to do with the problems that I was having with the pistol. To Para's credit they did attempt (unsuccessfully) to fix the pistol. They also sent me a note never to send it back to them for warranty work. I love this pistol and it shoots like a dream, but just know that Para will not help you if you modify it at all. YMMV. Good thing I have a good gunsmith locally taking care of it.
