So I noticed that Para was developing a new AR-15 pattern rifle a few months back, when I was in the market for one of their doublestack 1911s (I ended up with an S16-40 Limited, by the way; great pistol). I didn't pay much attention to it at the time.

So anyway, I happened across ZM Weapons' website this evening and noticed that their purchase information link basically listed Para USA in Florida. So after a bit more research, it appears that ZM sold the LR-300 design to Para Ordnance back in 2007, and the Tactical Target Rifle (TTR) is their version of it.

Anyone fired one of these things yet? I've sort of wanted an LR-300 for a few years now, and have heard nothing but great things (aside from price) about them; I'm just wondering if Para has done the design justice, or possibly even improved upon it.

I am quite smitten with this rifle and have yet to get my hands on one. You would hope with Para's quality in their handguns, that this would show in the TTR. From what I researched about the LR-300, if they don't do anything different it will still be an awesome rifle.
