Had my eyes on this for awhile. Finally picked it up and will put it through it's paces at the range...never had a double stack compact .45 on the 1911 platform. Should be interesting... ;)

I had a P-13 Limited (it's for sale at Bud's gunshop under used guns for a WAY better price than I sold mine for) and never got used to the double stack. GREAT gun, honestly, just a little "FAT" for carry, for me. I like the 1911 because of how slim it is. Same reason I never liked the P-7M13. Too fat.

They're nice aside from a plastic grip safety, and trigger.

And magazine release. These parts can all be had for about $90 total from PO, and they really make it nice.

Nice, giz - I just picked up my "Carry 12" version on Thursday - can't wait to get out and give it a go, then add it to the pool of CC guns. I have a 14.45 Limited that I just adore - this will be a great companion!

    Congrats on getting that!!
