This is for a new P3AT carry gun.

I spelled blued incorrectly in the poll and now I cant change it.

Stoving, high quality epoxy paint over parkerizing.

My P32 is parkerized, and it is holding up so far. I wouldn't mind a hard chrome one though. Maybe for my second.

    I don't think Kel-Tec makes stainless slides.

Blueing is a form of rust and offers no real rust protection. Parkerizing is a better finish but it is porous and must be oiled occasionally to seal the pores. Parkerizing with Duracoat over it is one of the best finishes as far as durability and corrosion resistance.

You are correct. I said stainless before the OP was edited to specify a Kel-Tec P3AT. Hard chrome it is...

I am having a hard time finding a P3AT with the hard chrome slide.
My dealer says he has never even had one come through and he has tride.
I have found a parkarized slide, OD green one.
All of my handguns are stainless because I have accidic persperation
and blued guns are alot of trouble for me.:uhoh:
I was just curious if parkarized was a better than blued.

I also have acidic sweat and can rust my parkerized 1911 in a day. Light rust that wipes off, but rust none-the-less...
