Well, after you flat out said that the badguys would totally keep fighting, even if they knew there was no chance the US would pull out, I knew this was over. Since you've chosen to ignore the actual people we're supposed to be fighting, the people on the ground doing the fighting, all of the military experts, and pretty much everybody that has a clue, and chosen to substitute your own reality, we're done.

I'm walking away from this thread, not gonna click on it again, and am sorry I wasted my time.

No, Titan6, it's relevant because it was nothing but LIES and many here BOUGHT INTO it and many STILL BELIEVE THE LIE.

Same with the WMDs

SAME WITH THE "GASSING HIS OWN PEOPLE".

Many Americans are full of feces and intellectual and moral cowards. And, no, I'm not calling you that; if I intended to do so I'd do so. I've heard veterans, college kids, LE and others parrot the early claims. Why is it we no longer have the desire to think boggles my mind...

Right. After all, it's not like we should LEARN anything from, oh, the entire history of the Middle East from 1917 to the present? Or the experience of Israel since its establishment in 1948?

The Jews are determined to stay. So why the hell haven't the Palis given up yet?

At least Len is consistent and mostly rational even if I disagree with him and he lacks some knowledge.
Gee, that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me in any RP discussion, ever (except for the people who agreed with me all along, of course). Thanks. :)

So, back to the original, much obfuscated point, that you've ducked, dodged, and changed the subject on:

If we presented a united front, and the bad guys didn't think we would pull out ever, would we still be having a war?

I'm gonna put that in bold, maybe you'll answer it. And try to answer it in less than your usual seven paragraphs.

Perhaps the question should not be, "If we presented a united front, and the bad guys didn't think we would pull out ever, would we still be having a war?," but rather, "should the USA enter a war without a united front to begin with?" And if one says, "well, when we invaded Iraq, the polls showed that XX% of the people supported the invasion...", then perhaps those who desire the war should not fabricate evidence to coerce people into a false unity, unless they can keep that lie hidden until the end of that war, or forever, whichever came first.
