Pay it Forward in Reloading

Zahn, received the brass yesterday. Now, find primers, have powder and projectiles. Thanks again.
You are welcome. And component availability is really the problem, isn't it? It seems everything is scarce and overpriced. Well keep your eyes open because sometimes it's out there if you look diligently enough.

Glad you got them and shoot straight and keep your powder dry.

got another one, I found when cleaning up, 100 135 grain Sierra match king 270 .277 HPBT I sold my 270 over a year ago, and thought I had given all the pieces and parts with it, see what happens when you do a little cleaning and organizing. in this time of hard to find pieces, maybe somebody on here could use them?

If I recall correctly, I bought these to try to load up some varmint rounds in the 270, never did it, cause I have a 243, 223, and others and then I sold the 270.

I actually bought some Husky Cabs for my reloading room (see the what did you do in the reloading room today thread). and found these while moving from boxes to cabinets.

who wants em?

Received your .270 135gr. SMK's today.
Thank you, Dave!

My 9mm culls for free. De-primed and water tumbled, then culled. Makers I despise and nato mixed in too. $8.50 for flat rate shipping. First claim gets 'em. Maybe 300 + pcs.

Poper,

With what i have now, I am in pretty good shape for 45 brass, let's see if someone else needs some, give it to them if they do, and if not, and you are looking for a place to get rid of it, then I will take it off you hands.

Dave

I have 18 pieces of nickel .270 Win brass I won't use; FC headstamp. They came with some once-fired brass I bought to experiment with: I plan to anneal the yellow brass cases, expand the necks to .284, load them up, and fire form them to .280 AI. I don't want to mess with the nickel cases. If someone can use them, shoot me a PM with a ship to address.

I truly appreciate the offer, thank you. I have more .270 brass than I will probably use in my lifetime. I will ask you to pass it along to a more worthy or needy soul than myself.

Good to see this thread revived again, I don't need anything right now, but, wanted to say thanks for offering up Legionnaire.

I have some brass available to be sent to a new home. All has been deprimed and polished, and are a wide variety of headstamps.
  • .40 S&W small pistol primer brass - 140 quantity
  • .223/5.56 NATO small rifle primer brass - 140 quantity Gone
PM me your address and I will get it sent to you.

PM sent. Hopefully, they are still available. Picked up an older Savage .270 last month while in Lubbock. Haven't seen ammo for it locally or on line, but I do have 20 pieces of good condition scrounged FC cases, 100 projos, and a few pounds of h4350. Your 18 would give me enough cases for a full range ladder test in one sitting. Time to put the chrono to work :)

I still have some pistol brass available for anyone who needs to put together some some plinking rounds.
  • .40 S&W small pistol primer brass - 140 quantity
  • .45 ACP small pistol primer brass - 50 quantity Gone
  • .45 ACP large pistol primer brass - 100 quantity Gone
The small primer brass above, both the .40 and .45, is good looking. The .45 large primer brass is rough; a lot of it is discolored and some is badly dented. I've deprimed them all and cleaned them as good as I could. All of this is various headstamp brass. I will pay for shipping.

Had several persons bring some brass they collected to me over the weekend including some calibers I do not currently reload. First-come first-served and you pay for shipping only if more than $15.00. These cases have not been cleaned or de-capped, and some may have minor damage. I do believe most have only been fired once. Case count is approximate +- 3

127 - 5.7x28 most are FMB head stamp (to the best of my knowledge these are original cases) Gone
15 - 7.62x54 most are PPV head stamp
