Okay I'll admit I rotate when I pocket carry, between my semi auto 380's and my J-frame .38.Spl.+p.revolvers. Do you just PC Semi auto's or revolvers only? I just like to rotate revolvers, because I have them, and i'm not going to have them as safe queens.I do have some safe queens in snubies revolvers and semi auto's by choice.

I may carry any one of a half dozen or more different specific guns depending on where I’m going and how I’m dressed. But they are all S&W J or K frame revolvers.

I don't rotate. There's almost always a Rohrbaugh R9 in my pocket. Sometimes there are places in Illinois that don't allow carrying a loaded firearm, and I'll "transport" an unloaded CM9. The CM9 has almost the same trigger as an R9. I also have an RM380 for backup - its almost identical to the R9.

I switch between a LCP, LCR, LC9s pro, 442, Walther PPS and a Kahr CW45 depending on the size of my pocket and weather conditions. All are point and click propositions though.

The only revolver I have that I pocket-carry is a NAA Mini in .22LR. But it's more often a Kel-Tec P32 in there. Either, when carried, is doing BUG duty to something else on the hip (except when I'm traveling to/from work at my no-carry site; then, it's the P32 by itself.)

I will rotate between a snub and semiauto for pocket carry. I don't have any logical reason to do so, but I do it anyway.

At first my only pocket gun was an LCP, so that's all I carried. When I picked up a j-frame I switched back and forth for a summer deciding which one I preferred, and now I only carry the j-frame because I think the idea of "rotation" can get you killed.

The only times the LCP comes out is when I'm dressed up for weddings or funerals and the revolver prints enough in light slacks that my wife scolds me for carrying. But she never knows when I have the LCP! :neener:

I have a pocket carry rotation of 5 guns: 2 revolvers (.38 Special), and 3 semi-autos (.380). The revolvers are both S&W J frames (Models 638 and 649), and 2 of the semi-autos are SAO (Colt Mustang and SIG P238), while the other .380 is DAO (KelTec P3AT).

I only pocket carry extremely rarely, and when I do its always an LCR.

The rest of the time theres a 1911 or Glock (17 or 26) on my hip, depending on what I'm training with most.

The World has become too dangerous. (Sounds like a title for a James Bond film).

My snubbies are "niche" guns...

Taurus S.S. M-85 is my fishing gun. Stainless steel is case it gets wet and a couple of shotshells for snakes.

Taurus M-941 22 Magnum for varmints and pest control on the farm.

I have several 9x18 (my .380 class) guns that are mostly safe queens.

I like the snubbies and the 9x18's but I do not find it difficult to carry a larger, much more effective 9mm.

(Even James Bond has given up his Walther .32).

Some sort of snub nose revolver when pockets permit (LCR, K6S, jframe), and soon a LCP II when the pants require something smaller.

I don't rotate. I stick to one handgun and train the heck out of it. Muscle memory absolutely counts in a crisis. If I'm just going to the range and having fun then I'll bring along whatever I feel like shooting.

No.
One gun, one operating system, one draw, one sight picture, one trigger pull, one pocket holster in one position.
When things go to the worms, it happens very fast. Too fast the think "ummmmm lemme think... is it a semi or a revolver I'm reaching for and where is it?"
Let your memory and training kick in without over complicating matters. My 2-cents, anyway

Use over half dozen EDCs, depending on mood. I can tell what I'm carrying pretty
quickly, by the feel of the handle.

Shifter & John Joseph have it. I’ve carried the same 38 Special Stubby for over 30 yrs, It feels like part of my hand, I know it, and it knows me..Has never failed me..!! why mess with what works?

This is the same thing I do. I don’t want to have to think about safeties, trigger pull, what to do in case of a malfunction etc. It will be stressful enough as it is.
