PCP guns and scopes...dumb question.

Am I correct in assuming that PCP rifles don't require special airgun scopes because there is no "wrong way" shock from the piston?
 
That's correct. No PCP delivers any significant recoil which might harm a scope's reticle. Spring piston and nitro piston airguns are the ones you need to be careful about, buying a scope which has been specifically built with the 'whiplash' type double recoil piston guns deliver to the scope.
