"Peace" demonstrators trash Rumsfeld's house

A little yellow journalism there.

It's not Rumsfeld's "home". It's one of 6 houses he owns in northern NM.

I believe he makes his home in DC these days....

And that should make a difference?

How many politicians DON'T have more than one house.

No, it doesn't make any difference.

But vandalizing the SoD's digs in DC is more than a little different from vandalizing one of several houses he merely owns, IMO.

Anyone trying that on his actual residence would most likely get an up close and personal view of the ground, a couple of knees in the back, while having their arms hyperextended into some stainless steel bracelets. That is if they were lucky enough not to get shot.

'Zactly.

That's why the article title was more than just a bit sensationalistic.

Sounds like he uses it as his vaction home. I doubt neighbors would've blocked access to the area had it just been investment property.

I doubt that anyone would like to have their lake cabin, etc. trashed just because they're only there a few months out of the year, or find it any less distressing.

I suppose that makes Bush's ranch in TX less of a home, if duration of occupancy is to be our criteria.

Could be, CZ, but I'm nearly positive that any place the SoD is likely to visit or spend any amount of time is on the SS's "A" List for security, monitoring, etc.

It's probably not a tract house, but I doubt that it's a SoD residence, even as a vacation house.

Trespass and vandalism is the same whether you live in it or not. The authorities should have done something.

All these peace marches seem to have an evil lurking underneath them.
