I think I like Penn And Teller alot more now. As a matter of fact, they do a better job of presenting the argument for gun rights than the NRA. IMO

They don't have to be... They just are. Doesn't bother me but I know it does some.

Penn is a huge libertarian (literally). If you want to hear more from him,he's got a pretty entertaining podcast and speaks his mind about Obama and the rest of the government. Fair warning: The language isn't any cleaner and he's an outspoken atheist.

Crude language can sometimes be the best way to communicate. And he certainly does do that !

They've been on our side as far back as I can remember - yes vulgar but sometimes it's needed to make a point (I know, not always, but sometimes…)

Im sure That if a Murdering Rapist was coming down My Hallway and Looking to Kill Me and rape and Murder My wife My words would be Refined and eloquent Like,"Dear Sir Please refrain from inflicting any harsh treatment on Myself and My beatiful wife, I plead That You have mercy upon us and Our Home and please leave and shut the door as You Do ,Thank You"--Not-- It would be Like 'I HAVE A GUN M&^*^^$&%&$ and If YOU keep coming down MY M*&&^%^^*^* Hallway It will Be the Last&^%$$ hallway Your Punk !&* will ever Walk down..Just sounds more sincere that way...

That was a great episode and showed the fallacies of restricting gun rights.

Awesome and still pretty dang relevant... I had to go back and check the air date.

And yes, we live in a vulgar world.

Yes, we live in a vulgar world, but their message would reach more people if they left-out the expletives. I'm no proper gentlemen around friends, but if producing a segment to be aired, even if only on the 'net, I'd tone-it-down. Call it hypocritical if you want, I call it maximizing target demographics for your message.

Good episode. Very informative. The language didn't bother me, and it wouldn't have bothered anyone I know.

Actually one could agrue that the vulgarity does appeal more to their target audience. I see Penn and Teller as a counter to people like Bill Mahr. The sacrcastic one liners is what so many of the under 35 crowd look up to for "news information" Penn and Teller fits in well with Bill Marh and Jon Stewart and honestly I cannot think of anyone other pro gun people fit that bill
