I just got me PX4 Storm 40S&W back from Robar. They did an outstanding job texturing the grip and NP3 the slide and internals. David Olhasso has already converted it to a G model (decock only) and done the action, it has the sweetest DA/SA I have ever seen even on Sigs.

I told the wife that this was going to be a "project" gun. Now I just think it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm off to the range to see what it will do.

You got it..

...

Congrats Ric..

That's the most beautiful Px4 40cal I have ever seen..

Hope ya don't mind but I posted a link over in the Beretta Forum for the others to see and enjoy.. and drool ;)

The queen is 5 shots at 10 yards off hand (thats great for me) the king is 10 shots a little farther back, about 42 - 45 feet.

im sending off my PX4 to robar for the NP3 finish. what did you pay to get the grips done and how did you order them?

Hey Ric

...

I forgot to ask, did you get the small and medium backstraps done as well?

I see you use the large backstrap but it really blends-in with the crinkle finish.

I would, if ya don't mind, would also like to know what the complete charge and wait time was..?

Thanks,

Ls

The wait time was about 8 weeks.
I only did the large backstrap as thats what I use.
The texturing I ordered was for the entire grip with no reduction, they emailed me a pic of an FN 5.7 that they did with the texturing that you see and asked if they could get creative with the texturing. So obviously I said yes and I'm glad I did.
I had the barrel recrowned, NP3 the slide and slide internals. The XS sights were 130.00.
The whole bill was $425. Without the sights it would have been less than $300.

Man, that XS front looks like a trash can lid sticking up there. I bet I could see that without my readers.

Yes, it's a bitch to get old.

That's going to have to be the next addition to my P220 I suppose.

Excellent photos, fantastic pistol you've compiled for yourself. My congratulations to you. I'd heard they were shooters- you've proven it.

Regards,
Rabbit.
