    The twisted minds at PETA came up with this;

    Article here: http://www.517169.com/

    Violence Begets Violence

    The six murdered hunters were not only victims but also perpetrators. They, just like their murderer, Chai Soua Vang, regularly took pleasure in killing innocent and defenseless animals. If they had killed and maimed their dogs and cats in similar fashion, they would have been charged with cruelty to animals. Animals in the wild feel pain and suffer just like companion animals. It is no coincidence that this violent and cruel “sport” culminated in violence to its human participants. Psychologists and criminologists have long known that people who abuse animals rarely stop there. The hunters demonstrated insensitivity and indifference to the suffering that they caused and were in turn the recipients in this cycle of violence. Don’t teach your children to hunt. Teach compassion instead.d.

    A good organization needs good propaganda. If a big lie is repeated often enough, the people will just adopt it as fact. Seems to be a recurring theme in history.

    So the hunters are as important as the deer. Yup, it's PETA all right.

    We should ban any killing of any deer, anywhere, for any reason. Once deer start smashing into PETA's hoods due to lack of space in any given natural habitat, maybe they'll rethink their prohibition to hunters.

    You assume too much rationality about PETA. They'll start advocating the removal of roads.

    <types letters>

    Dear Peta,

    I am feeling "abused" by PETA.

    Therefore since this abusive behaviour, according to you folks , PETA, leads to worse acts of abuse, I will continue to take prudent steps to stay safe.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Dear Homeland Security,

    According to what I understand some groups and organizations are stereotypical of criminal behavior.

    PETA is abusing me, and according to them, abusive behavior can lead to more serious behaviours and "My Understanding" is these serious behaviors might even be "criminal".

    I suggest Homeland Security check out this PETA organization for National Security reasons.

    Steve

    I, for one, couldn't be happier to hear that PETA kills thousands of dogs...maybe one day, I'll be able to take a walk in my neighborhood and not step in a steaming pile of poo on the sidewalk :barf: .

    (If this comment doesn't get the thread closed, I can't imagine what will)

    Nobody even listens to the horses-a$$, talking heads at PETA anymore, with the exception of a few fringe wacko's. For the most part, Americans look at PETA the same way they look at radical religious groups (and that's basically what they are).

    Are they actually justifying the murder of these people? Or they just saying they deserved it?

    Truly disgusting. Not that it surprises me coming from PETA.

    Welcome to the logic of PETA. It goes like this:

    Animals deserve the same rights to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness as people. Therefore, killing an animal is exactly as bad as killing a human. Therefore, someone who kills an animal deserves the same punishment as someone who kills a person.

    PETA got caught contributing money to eco-terrorists (Animal Liberation Front, I think it was). ALF puts into action the philosophy of PETA, with vandalism, arson, and assault being seen as justified against the murderers of innocent animals.

    PETA was found to have its own secret facility for euthenizing and disposing of animals. Turns out that they couldn't find homes for all the furries they "rescued" from animal shelters.

    Plenty of Joe and Jane Averages think that PETA is either good or just silly. Few know that PETA is just plain evil.

    Penn and Teller did a great job of exposing PETA for what it is (video here. Warning: Profanity).

    FYI (in case you didnt already know) the Animal Rights types over here are switching their attention to fishing now, so its best to face these people down at the first available chance.

    PETA seems like such a dangerous organization that the public is completely unaware of the dangers of.

    PETA isn't a terrorist organization. The ALF is.

    PETA's like Yasser Arafat. Arafat won a nobel prize. PETA won Pamela Anderson.
    The ALF does all the dirty work like Arafat's martyrs' brigade.

    Pamela would never let PETA engage in violence. She only condones blowing people up who have their own band.

    Why doesn't PETA protest lions hunting in Africa? How come it's okay for a lion to provide food for itself by ripping apart a gazelle, but it's horribly wrong for me to (more humanely) put a deer down and eat the meat?

    PETA thinks it's pro-nature, but nature thinks PETA is perverse.

    PETA folks are living proof that not all lobotomies work as planned...

    But Wayne Purcelles of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is just as nutzoid as Ingrid Newkirk. After he/his group end hunting, fishing is next.
