I got it as a straight trade for my Sig P228. Is there anything I need to know about it? I plan on adding an ambi safety (I'm lefty) and possibly changing the grips. I definitely need to get an IWB holster and I'm strongly considering a Tucker "The Answer." Any opinions on these?

Over 2,000 rounds through mine without a problem. It likes good magazines.

I love mine. If it's new it very likely will need a break in, per the owners manual. Mine rides very happily IWB in a Gary Brommeland www.brommelandgunleather.com or very comfortably in my pocket, in a Sam Andrews www.andrewsleather.com pocket holster.

Get some Wilson combat mags as the Kimber mag in the box isn't great.

The break-in is, in my opinion, a legitimate necessity before actually carrying... up to ~750 rounds I had an FTF about every 100 even with good cleaning, mags, grip and ammo. After 750, I haven't had a hiccup well past 1k now...

Tiny little thing but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one :what:

Mine rides in a Bianchi OWB. I'm not too big into total concealment with this pistol, especially this time of year. If it prints a bit, I don't care personally. It's not against the law here anyways.

I love mine and has not hick-uped since the break in. I got a set of the gray/silver laminate grips from Kimber a while back on special, and the feel is so much better for me.

Hope you like yours as much as I like mine!
