My son has been interested in shooting some pistol competitions (already shoots rifles in F Class). Been on the lookout for a suitable pistol and came across this P229 SAS at my LGS. It included all the extras you see here (12 mags, 2 gun holsters and 3 mag holders). Pretty much everything he would need for an IDPA match. (Also, sights had been upgraded too)

Cool! The SIGSauer 220-series is my favorite family of duty-style pistols. :) I owned a Robar-tuned P-226 years ago that I traded away, so all I have left is a P-228

Let us know how it shoots for you when you get a chance to fire it .

Stay safe.

Solid choice with a nice set of mags and accessories. I always like the non railed SAS frames and slides.

A great deal, good kit , adequate magazines :) and good looking holsters. The 229 is about my favorite Sig , over all. Having your son take up the sport; PRICELESS !

My first and only Sig is a P 320 in .45acp. Makes me look like a great shot.

I have an M11-A1 and a P228 and these are both great shooters if you train and practice with them. You got a nice setup with a lot of mags and a few nice holsters, and you can never have enough of either.

900$ out the door with everything included is a great purchase, especially considering the fact that that's how much one would spend on those accessories anyway.
That pistol is going to be a great shooter that's for sure.

Congrats on the most excellent purchase! And I thought I did really good getting a LNIB P229R with 3 extra mags and night sights! With all of those mags and the two holsters and three mag holders that's like the Deal of the Century!

I feel like I got a pretty good deal too. $900 out the door.
I think you win the Understatement of the Day award. I'm not an expert on Sig prices, but that sounds like a fantastic deal. Heck, the magazines alone ought to be ~$300 worth or so. I hope you'll bring us a range report soon.

I'm not an expert on Sig prices

Me either, so I did a little after-the-fact researching (this is a bad habit of mine)

6 of the 12 magazines are Sig brand. Internet prices for those run $40-$50 ea. Bottom line rough math, I basically got all the accessories thrown in for little or no costs.
